We’re open 5 days a week. We’ll be open 7 days a week from 30th October 2025.

Reception hours are from 8 am to 9 pm.

Maruia Hot Springs is located on Highway 7 in the Lewis Pass National Park on one of only three mountain highways through the Southern Alps that link the East-coast to the West coast of the South Island. This highway also links Christchurch the South Island’s largest city to Nelson, one of the South Island’s most popular holiday destinations.

Maruia Hot Springs is located just 2,5 hours (192km) drive from Christchurch Airport and 1 hour of a picturesque drive from Hanmer Springs turn-off when travelling from Christchurch. The drive from Nelson airport takes 2 hours and 45min (217 km).
